YOUR NOTEBOOK CAN BE YOUR NEW BESTIE.

YOUR NOTEBOOK CAN BE YOUR NEW BESTIE.

Using a notebook or journalcan be an incredibly useful tool in achieving a wide variety of goals, both personal and professional.

The act of putting pen to paper can have such a profound impact in your life. It is a tool you can rely on, a sidekick – used daily you can call it your new bestie! A constant in your life that is always there for you!

Here are some examples of what you can achieve using a notebook or journal:

  1. Organise your thoughts. One of the main benefits of using a notebook or journal is that it allows you to get your thoughts down on paper in a structured way. This can help you to better understand your own thinking, prioritize tasks and ideas, and identify patterns and themes.
  2. Plan and track your goals. You can use your notebook or journal to set goals for yourself and track your progress towards achieving them. This can help you to stay focused and motivated, and to celebrate your successes along the way.
  3. Increase creativity. Many people find that using a notebook or journal can help to increase their creativity. By jotting down ideas as they come to you, you can build on them later and develop them into more fully-formed concepts.
  4. Reduce stress. Writing in a notebook or journal can be a great way to reduce stress and anxiety. By getting your thoughts and feelings down on paper, you can gain perspective on your situation and work through difficult emotions.
  5. Improve memory. Writing things down can also help to improve your memory. By taking notes and keeping a record of important events and ideas, you can better retain information and recall it later.

We use our lined journals to keep on track of everyday. I keep one to take to meetings and keep my daily to do’s and I keep another to jot down and flesh out ideas. Research has proven that writing by hand helps you remember more and process information better. So the action of putting pen to paper far outweighs and makes me so much more productive than any digital format. Journals also never run out of batteries or get accidentally erased or corrupted!!
